Official: Claudinho signs for Al-Sadd until 2029

Al Sadd Club has officially announced the signing of Brazilian star Claudinho from Russian club Zenit.

The Brazilian player has signed a four-year contract with Al Sadd, with the deal running until 2029.

The 28-year-old previously played for RB Bragantino in Brazil, appearing in 126 matches and scoring 32 goals, including 18 goals during the 2019-2020 season, where he was crowned top scorer of the Brazilian league. ...

Al Sadd Sports Club’s headquarters witnessed a special ceremony on Tuesday, with the signing of an extension to the partnership between the club and New Balance, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of apparel and footwear.

The event was attended by the club’s CEO, Turki Al-Ali, and the CEO of New Balance for the Middle East, Africa, and India, Stuart Henwood. Under this agreement, New Balance will remain the official partner of Al Sadd’s first football team until 2030. ...
