The Al-Sadd first team delegation arrived in the Jordanian capital, Amman, at 7:00 PM today, Saturday, in preparation for the AFC Champions League match against Al-Faisaly. The group stage fourth round fixture is set to be played on Monday, November 6th, at the Amman International Stadium.

The Al-Sadd delegation received a warm welcome from the officials of the Jordanian team. Al-Sadd’s delegation includes members of the coaching and administrative staff, along with 24 players, and is led by Mohammed Ghulam Al Balushi, the sporting director of the club. ... 

Al-Sadd goalkeeper Meshaal Barsham expressed his delight with his side’s 5-0 victory over Al-Markhiya, in Round 8 of the Expo Stars League.

In his post-match statements, Meshaal said: “We achieved what was required, which is the win and three points, and we came out with a clean sheet. We also succeeded in maintaining our lead in the league.” ... 

Al-Sadd maintained their pole position in the Expo Stars League with an emphatic 5-0 win against Al-Markhiya at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium on Thursday.

The star of the show was Akram Afif, securing a super hat-trick in the 16th, 20th, 42nd, and 45+3rd minutes. Additionally, Baghdad Bounedjah added to the tally in the 12th minute. This commanding victory solidifies Al-Sadd’s place at the top of the league with an impressive 19 points. ... 

Al-Sadd’s Moustafa Tarek confirmed the readiness of his team to face Al-Markhiya in their upcoming Expo Stars League Round 8 match.

Speaking during the pre-match press conference, Moustafa said: “We are currently at the top of the league, and we seek to continue the series of wins that the team has achieved in the recent period to stay at the summit.” ... 

Al-Sadd head coach Bruno Miguel has spoken of the challenge of facing Al-Markhiya in Round 8 of the Expo Stars League.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Bruno said: “In the next match against Al-Markhiya, we are expecting a team that will reduce space for us. They are a team that will be very compact in the defence and it will be very hard for us to overcome them. We need to understand the game and we need to be smart to find the small gaps to move the ball.” ... 

Al-Sadd defender Tarek Salman shared his joy after the team’s crucial 2-0 victory against Muaither in the seventh week of the Expo Stars League.

In his post-match comments, Tarek highlighted, “Getting those three points was crucial for us in this game, after our strong win in the AFC Champions League against Al-Faisaly, and we achieved that, and we kept a clean sheet as well.” ... 

Al-Sadd secured the top spot in the Expo Stars League table by defeating Muaither 2-0 in their Round 7 match held on Saturday at the Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium.

With this victory, Al-Sadd ascended to the top of the standings with 16 points from 6 matches. Akram Afif scored the first goal for the team from a penalty in the 42nd minute, and Hashim Ali added the second goal in the 94th minute. ...
