Al-Sadd defender Pedro Miguel stressed the importance of the upcoming match against Al-Wehdat of Jordan in the third round of the AFC Champions League group stage.
Speaking during the pre-match press conference, Pedro said: “A difficult match awaits us against Al-Wehdat. We did not start the tournament well and we have to be fully focused to win the next match.”
The defender continued, “We lost many points and we have to make up for them and enter the game against Al-Wehdat with great focus, in order to win and to maintain the team’s hopes in the competition.”
Regarding his sending off in the first match against Nasaf, Pedro said: “I accepted the referee’s decision to send me off. My goal is to help my team; the Nasaf match is history, and now all my focus is on facing Al-Wehdat in the next game.”
