The Al-Sadd U-23 team continued their run of victories in the Qatargas U-23 League, after a 6-1 win over Al-Khor in the Round 14 match which was played on Friday at Al-Shamal Stadium. With this result, Al-Sadd maintained their lead at the top of the league table with a tally of 36 points.
Abdullah Ismail gave Al-Sadd the lead in the 40th minute, before Mustafa Tariq added the second goal (45’). Hassan Ahmed (47′, 70′, 89′) then netted a second-half hat-trick, while Rami Suhail (63’) also got on the scoresheet for the Wolves. Asaad Riyad scored the only goal for Al Khor in the 84th minute.
