The Spanish coach Sergio Alegre has joined the coaching staff of Al Sadd’s first football team under the leadership of Felix Sanchez.
Alegre previously worked as an assistant to Felix Sanchez when he was the head coach of the Qatar national team, winning the 2019 AFC Asian Cup with Al Annabi.
He also worked with the coaching staff of Xavi Hernandez during the latter’s tenure as head coach of Al Sadd from 2019 to 2021, winning seven titles with the club.
