Al-Sadd’s first team secured a spot in the semi-finals of the 2023 Amir Cup with a 3-1 victory over Umm Salal in their quarter-final match at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium on Tuesday.

Al-Sadd will face Al-Shahania in the next round after this victory.

Hassan Al-Haydos netted the first goal in the 52nd minute, followed by Akram Afif scoring in the 57th minute, and then Ayoub El-Kaabi adding the third goal in stoppage time. Umm Salal’s only goal was scored by Yassin Al-Bakhit in the 82nd minute. ...

Al-Sadd head coach Juanma has described his team’s upcoming quarter-final match against Umm Salal in the Amir Cup as strong and difficult.

Al-Sadd’s first team secured a 4-2 victory against Al-Wakrah in the QNB Stars League 2022-23 Round 18 match, held at Saoud bin Abdul Rahman Stadium on Saturday.

With this win, Al-Sadd increased their total points to 35. Ayoub El-Kaabi scored two goals for Al-Sadd in the 27th and 88th minutes, while Akram Afif scored twice in the 48th and 66th minutes. Meanwhile, Trent Sainsbury scored the first goal for Al-Wakrah in the 57th minute, and Gelson Dalla scored their second goal in the 87th minute. ...
