Al-Sadd defender Tarek Salman shared his joy after the team’s crucial 2-0 victory against Muaither in the seventh week of the Expo Stars League.
In his post-match comments, Tarek highlighted, “Getting those three points was crucial for us in this game, after our strong win in the AFC Champions League against Al-Faisaly, and we achieved that, and we kept a clean sheet as well.”
Salman added, “The team is dealing with some tiredness, but we promise our fans that we will improve in the upcoming matches. For now, it’s great to be back at the top of the table.”
Asked about the referee’s performance in the match, he said, “The referee did a good job and was fair to both teams. Despite a few mistakes, the video technology was there to help him, and I think he did an excellent job.”
