Al-Sadd head coach Xavi Hernandez expressed his happiness after what he described as an important 3-0 victory over Al-Ahli in Round 16 of the QNB Stars League.
In his statement after the match, Xavi told the club’s website: “It was a difficult match, Al-Ahly played man-to-man, they made the match difficult for us and did not allow us to play in our usual way.”
The coach added: “We did not play in our usual excellent way, but we achieved the most important thing, which was the victory and the three points.”
Xavi continued, saying: “I’m happy with the victory we achieved today, and I’m happy to overcome another obstacle in our march towards the league title.”
