Al-Sadd hold main training session ahead of Al-Wehdat clash

The Al-Sadd first team held its main training session from 9 PM onwards on Wednesday, at Prince Saud bin Jiluwi Sports City Stadium, which has been designated for the Wolves’ training throughout the duration of the group stage of the 2022 AFC Champions League.

The team is preparing to face Jordanian side Al Wehdat in the third round game in Group E, which will be kick off at 8:15 PM on Friday evening at Prince Muhammad bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam.

Al-Sadd’s other opponents in Group E are Nasaf of Uzbekistan and Al-Faisaly of Saudi Arabia.

The main training session on Thursday witnessed the intense participation of all the players, under the supervision of coach Javi Gracia, who focused on choosing the appropriate squad for the game against Al-Wehdat.

The coaching staff held a meeting with the players in the midfield circle before the start of the training session, to talk with the players about the key technical points ahead of the game, urging them to do their best.

The press conference for the match between Al Sadd and Al Wehdat will start at 3 PM on Thursday, in the presence of the coach and Pedro Miguel.

Both Pedro Miguel and Abdelkarim Hassan will be available in the upcoming game with Al-Sadd, following the end of their suspension after receiving red cards in the first match against Nasaf.
