Ahmed Al Saeed ruled out with cruciate ligament injury

Al-Sadd under-23 player Ahmed Mohammed Al Saeed was ruled out of action for 6 months, after medical examinations confirmed that he had torn the cruciate ligament in his left foot.

The player suffered the injury during the match against Al Sailiya in the third round of the Ooredoo Cup, which ended in a 4-4 draw. ...

The Al-Sadd football team added yet another title to its collection, after winning the 2019-20 Ooredoo Cup, bringing its trophy tally to 72 in all competitions.

This is the second time in Al-Sadd’s history that the club has won this title, after previously triumphing in the 2010-11 season, under the tournament’s old name, the Qatar Stars Cup. ...

Al-Sadd goalkeeper Meshaal Barsham congratulated the players and fans of the club after they won the 2019-20 Ooredoo Cup title with a 4-0 victory over Al-Arabi in the final.
