Felix Sanchez: The Amir Cup holds a special place in the hearts of Al-Sadd fans

Felix Sanchez, the head coach of Al Sadd, confirmed the team’s readiness for the upcoming Amir Cup quarter-final clash against Al Gharafa.

Speaking at the press conference, the Al Sadd coach said: “We played against Al Duhail just two days ago and won the Qatar Cup title. That trophy gives us a big boost to continue pursuing more championships.”

He added: “We’ll be ready and in good shape for the match against Al Gharafa in the Amir Cup quarter-finals. Our goal is to reach the semi-final, and we’ll be fully prepared.”

Felix also pointed out that Al Sadd players are used to competing in multiple tournaments: “The Amir Cup is a very special competition and holds a special place in the hearts of Al Sadd fans. Everyone wants to win it, and our full focus is now on facing a strong Al Gharafa side.”

He concluded: “All of our players are ready despite the fatigue from the recent period. We need to have a strong mindset to prepare well for the Al Gharafa match.”
