His Excellency Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, crowned Al Sadd as champions of the Qatar Cup following their victory over Al Duhail in the final via penalty shootout.
Sheikh Joaan awarded the gold medals to the Al Sadd players—champions of this prestigious and proud title—and later presented the championship trophy to team captain Hassan Al-Haydos, who lifted the cup and celebrated with his teammates in front of the jubilant Al Sadd fans. This marks Al Sadd’s second title of the season, following their triumph in the Ooredoo Stars League.
