Al Sadd captain Hassan Al-Haydos praised his team’s achievement in winning their second title of the season by securing the Qatar Cup after defeating Al Duhail in the final.
He said: “We are happy with this new accomplishment—winning our second trophy this season. This title is the result of everyone’s efforts at the club, and this victory gives us the opportunity to regroup and prepare for the next stage: the Amir Cup, which is a cherished tournament for us.”
He added: “Al Sadd is having a strong season, and we aim to continue performing at this level in the most prestigious tournament to win more trophies for the club.”
Al-Haydos also congratulated the club’s board for their great support, which was one of the key factors behind winning both the league and the Qatar Cup. He also thanked the fans, saying they played an important role with their continuous support, and wishing the team success in the upcoming challenges.
