Al-Sadd coach Felix Sanchez described his side’s upcoming Ooredoo Stars League clash against Al-Khor as challenging and spoke of the team’s aim to focus only on this game.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Sanchez said: “It’s always challenging when we play after an international break. The players return after playing two matches with their national teams, and some of them have had long trips.” ...

In his post-match remarks, he stated: “There was a great desire among all the players to achieve victory and secure the three points, but Al-Wasl was not an easy opponent and put up a tough, competitive match.” ... 

Al-Sadd drew 1-1 with UAE’s Al-Wasl in their AFC Champions League Elite Round 4 match held on Monday evening at the Zabeel Stadium in Dubai.

With this draw, Al-Sadd raised their points tally to 8 from two wins and two draws. Alexis Perez gave Al-Wasl the lead in the 29th minute, before Moroccan defender Romain Saïss scored the equalizer for Al-Sadd in the 61st minute. The match also saw Al-Wasl defender Soufiane Bouftini sent off in the 83rd minute. ...

Al-Sadd Club announces the official signing of Algerian international Adam Ounas until the end of the current season, 2024-2025.

The signing of Ounas comes as part of the management’s efforts to strengthen the team’s lineup for the upcoming competitions.

The 28-year-old Algerian international Ounas began his career with Bordeaux in France, progressing through the youth ranks to the first team in 2015. He played 60 matches, scored 10 goals, and provided 6 assists until 2019. ...
