With reference to the news announced by the Kuwaiti professional football club, Al Jahra Sporting Club, to have signed with the Qatari player / Abdul Karim Hassan, Al Sadd FC would like to clarify and state as follows.

The aforesaid Player has unilaterally early terminated his employment contract with Al Sadd FC without any just cause and/or valid reason. ... 

Juanma: Al-Markhiya is a well-built team with a lot of energy

Al-Sadd head coach Juanma Lillo spoke about the difficulty of the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 12 game against Al-Markhiya.

At the pre-match press conference, Juanma said: “Every opponent and every match has its considerations. Al Markhiya is clearly a team with a lot of energy, very well-built. They have been promoted from the Second Division but it is not noticeable that they have not been in the first division recently.” ... 

Al-Sadd hold main training session to prepare for Al-Arabi

The Al-Sadd first team held its main training session on Friday, in preparation for the match against Al Markhiya in Round 12 of the QNB Stars League.

The Wolves go into the game occupying sixth place in the league table, with a tally of 13 points from nine games. The team has two postponed games yet to be played, against Qatar SC and Al-Duhail. ... 

Juanma: Calmness gave us the victory today

Al-Sadd head coach Juanma stressed the importance of his side’s victory over Al-Arabi in the QNB Stars League Round 11 game which was played on Monday.

Speaking to the club’s website after the match, Juanma said: “We played well and were the best in general, and at times we needed some calmness to control the ball, and this is what happened until we achieved victory with a two-goal margin.” ... 

Al-Sadd clinch 2-0 derby victory over Al-Arabi

Al-Sadd recorded their second consecutive win in the QNB Stars League, defeating Al-Arabi 2-0 in the Round 11 game that was played at Grand Hamad Stadium on Monday.

After a goalless first half, Santi Cazorla put Al-Sadd ahead from the penalty spot in the 66th minute. Hassan Al-Haydos then made it 2-0 in the 72nd minute with a shot that went in off a deflection. ... 

Saad Al-Dosari ruled out of Al-Arabi clash

The Al-Sadd first team will miss the services of goalkeeper Saad Al-Dosari from the next game against Al-Arabi in Round 11 of the QNB Stars League due to injury.

Saad suffered a connective muscle injury during training, and he is set to return to training with the team after the Al-Arabi game.
