Al-Sadd left-back Abdelkarim Hassan praised his side’s performance in the 4-1 win over Al-Duhail, in the semifinals of the Amir Cup.

Speaking after the game, Abdelkarim said: “We conceded an early goal in the match, but despite that, we remained steady and were able to respond strongly in the second half. We scored four goals to get a deserved victory after the excellent display in the match, and the second half in particular.” ... 

Al-Sadd captain Hassan Al-Haydos expressed his delight after his side defeated Al-Duhail 4-1 to reach the Amir Cup final.

Speaking to the media after the match, Al-Haydos said: “It was a very wonderful game, and we managed to come back after conceding a goal in the first half. We responded with four goals in the second half, and we created many dangerous opportunities.” ... 

Al-Sadd head coach Xavi Hernandez congratulated his players, after the big 4-1 win over Al-Duhail in the semi-final of the 2020 Amir Cup.

Spekaing at the press conference after the match, Xavi said: “We feel very happy after this deserved victory. We were better than Al-Duhail from the beginning of the match; we conceded an early goal, but we maintained our way of playing and we continued in the same manner. When we scored the equalizer, the situation changed and we got a four-goal win.” ... 

Al-Sadd reached the final of the 2020 Amir Cup after a 4-1 win over Al-Duhail, in the semifinal clash which was played at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium on Saturday.

Al-Duhail opened the scoring in the 10th minute through Edmilson, before Al-Sadd responded with four goals in the second half, scored by Khoukhi Boualem (58′), Guilherme (64′), Baghdad Bounedjah (77′) and Rodrigo Tabata (88′). ... 

The Al-Sadd first team held their main training session on Thursday, at the club’s secondary pitch, in preparation for the upcoming Amir Cup 2020 semifinal against Al-Duhail. The game is scheduled to kick off at 6 PM on Saturday at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium.

Al-Sadd began their Amir Cup campaign earlier in the year with a 3-2 win over Al-Kharaitiyat in the round of 16, before defeating Al-Wakrah on penalties in the quarterfinal. ... 

Al-Sadd defender Pedro Miguel spoke of his team’s desire to defeat Al-Duhail and reach the final of the Amir Cup.

Speaking at the press conference ahead of Saturday’s semifinal clash, Pedro said: “We are excited and ready to face Al Duhail. It is an important match and we will work hard to win it, to reach the final.” ... 

Al-Sadd head coach Xavi spoke of the difficulty of his side’s upcoming clash with Al-Duhail in the semifinals of the Amir Cup 2020, describing it as “a complicated game”. The match is set to be played on Saturday at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Xavi said: “We got a two-day break, which is the players deserved, especially after they made a great effort in the last period.” ... 

The Al-Sadd U-23 registered a 1-0 win over Al-Khor, in their 2020-21 Qatargas U-23 League second round clash, which was played at Al-Sailiya Club on Tuesday. With this victory, Al-Sadd got their its first 3 points in the tournament, after having lost the first game to Al-Duhail.

Rami Suhail scored the lone goal of the game from a penalty in second half stoppage time.  ... 

Al-Sadd resumed their training at 5:30 pm on Monday, at the club’s secondary pitch, after the big 7-1 win over Al-Ahli in Round 5 of the QNB Stars League.

The result took the Wolves to the top of the league table with 13 points from 4 wins and a draw.

Al-Sadd is now preparing to face Al-Duhail in the semi-final of the Amir Cup, which will be played on Saturday, October 31 at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium. ...
