Javi Gracia: We must be more effective against Al-Wehdat

Al-Sadd coach Javi Gracia stressed the importance of the upcoming Group E clash against Al-Wehdat of Jordan in the third round of the AFC Champions League 2022 group stage.

The Al-Sadd first team held its main training session from 9 PM onwards on Wednesday, at Prince Saud bin Jiluwi Sports City Stadium, which has been designated for the Wolves’ training throughout the duration of the group stage of the 2022 AFC Champions League.

Javi Gracia: Disappointed with the result, we failed to make use of our opportunities

Al-Sadd coach Javi Gracia expressed his disappointment after his side lost 2-1 against Saudi side Al-Faisaly in the second round of the AFC Champions League group stage.

In his statement to the media after the match, Gracia said: “We worked hard during the match, we started well and went ahead with the first goal. After that Al-Faisaly equalised, and then we committee many mistakes which contributed to them taking the the lead with the second goal.” ...
