Juanma: Preseason has been progressing well, the players are putting in a lot of effort

Al-Sadd coach Juanma has expressed his satisfaction with the progression of his side’s preparations ahead of the 2022-23 season.

Speaking to the club website in an exclusive chat, the coach said: “Preseason has been very good for us, everything is going in the ideal manner. We completed our preparatory period in Doha, and then we have intensified our preparation at the overseas camp in Austria, so that we can take the players to the required level of readiness.” ...

The Al-Sadd first team defeated Austrian side Bruck an der Leitha 2-0, in the first friendly match of ongoing 2022-23 preseason training camp in Austria.

Al-Sadd continue training over two periods, first friendly to be played on Monday

The Al Sadd first team continued training on Saturday over two periods, during the 2022-23 preseason camp which is being held in the Austrian capital Vienna.

The coaching staff, led by head coach Juanma, was keen to work on physical aspets, while also paying attention to the tactical side, especially with regards to the players’ movements. The coaches also implemented drills to work on dead ball situations.  ...

The Al-Sadd first team delegation arrived in the Austrian town of Vösendorf, ahead of the 2022-23 preseason training camp.

Al-Sadd delegation to leave for Austria on Monday with 26 players

The Al-Sadd first team delegation will leave for Austria at 8:30 am on Monday, July 4, ahead of the preseason training camp for the new 2022-23 season, which is scheduled to be held until the 20th of the same month in the Austrian capital Vienna.

Al-Sadd to hold preseason camp in Austria

The Al-Sadd coaching staff have decided to hold an overseas training camp in Vienna, Austria, as part of the preparations for the launch of the new football season and the 2022-23 QNB Stars League campaign.

The camp will start on the 4th of July and will continue until the 20th of the same month.

During the overseas camp, Al-Sadd will play a number of friendly matches, in addition to technical and physical training, which will prepare the team for the new season. ...

Al-Sadd coach Javi Gracia spoke of his satisfaction with his side’s 1-0 victroy against Al-Faisaly of Saudi Arabia, in the sixth and final round of Group E at the AFC Champions League 2022.
