AFC Champions League: Al-Sadd draw 1-1 with Nasaf in opening game

Al-Sadd began their AFC Champions League 2022 campaign in Group E with a 1-1 draw against Nasaf of Uzbekistan in the matchday 1 clash played on Friday at Prince Muhammad bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam.

With this result, Al-Sadd recorded their first point in the group. Nasaf was the first to score in the 30th minute, through an own goal by Pedro Miguel, before Khoukhi Boualem equalised for Al-Sadd in the 55th minute. ... 

Rodrigo Tabata: We are ready to face Nasaf

Al-Sadd’s Rodrigo Tabata confirmed the readiness of his side ahead of the upcoming game against Nasaf of Uzbekistan, on matchday 1 of the AFC Champions League group stage.

The Al-Sadd first team delegation arrived in Dammam, Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, April 6, ahead of their participation in the 2022 AFC Champions League group stage.

The team will play in Group E, alongside Al-Faisaly (Saudi Arabia), Al-Wehdat (Jordan), and Nasaf (Uzbekistan).

Al-Sadd first team to travel to Dammam on Wednesday

The Al-Sadd first team delegation will travel to Dammam, Saudi Arabia at 8 PM on Wednesday April 6, in order to participate in the 2022 AFC Champions League.
