Al Sadd enter the match sitting in second place in Group E with 4 points, after a 1-1 draw in the first round with Nasaf of Uzbekistan, before losing 1-2 in the second round against Al Faisaly of Saudi Arabia, and then achieving a big 5-2 victory over Jordanian side Al-Wehdat. ...

The team is preparing to face Jordanian side Al Wehdat in the third round game in Group E, which will be kick off at 8:15 PM on Friday evening at Prince Muhammad bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam. ... 

Al-Sadd coach Javi Gracia expressed his disappointment after his side lost 2-1 against Saudi side Al-Faisaly in the second round of the AFC Champions League group stage.

In his statement to the media after the match, Gracia said: “We worked hard during the match, we started well and went ahead with the first goal. After that Al-Faisaly equalised, and then we committee many mistakes which contributed to them taking the the lead with the second goal.” ...
