Al-Sadd conclude preparations for Al-Khor clash

Al-Sadd concluded their preparations for the upcoming game against Al-Khor, with a final training session on Monday evening at the club’s training facility. The QNB Stars League Round 21 game is scheduled to kick off at 7 PM on Tuesday.

Al-Sadd defender Khoukhi Boualem hosted a dinner for the team at the club’s headquarters after training today, Saturday, on the occasion of the arrival of his newborn son Ahmed.

The team members and staff enjoyed the festive occasion and congratulated Khoukhi on the birth of his son.

Al-Sadd had continued training today, Saturday, at the club’s training centre, in preparation for facing Al Khor, in Round 21 of the QNB Stars League, on Tuesday, the 1st of March, at Al Khor Stadium. ... 

Al-Sadd fans celebrate with the league title

The Al-Sadd management celebrated winning the QNB Stars League shield, at the club’s headquarters today, Saturday, with the presence of the league shield, along with a large cake to mark the occasion.

The celebrations were attended by supporters of Al-Sadd, who showed their appreciation for the team’s efforts throughout the season. ... 

Javi Gracia: We proved to everyone we are the best

Al Sadd coach Javi Gracia expressed his happiness at lifting the QNB Stars League title for the 2021/22 season, following the Round 20 game against Al Duhail, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

In his statement to the club’s website after the match, Gracia said: “It is very important to continue to succeed and build on what we have achieved. We have proven to everyone that we are the best in Qatar.” ... 

Khoukhi Boualem: We had a great season

Al-Sadd defender Khoukhi Boualem described his emotions after his side won the league title for the sixteenth time in the club’s history.

Speaking after lifting the QNB Stars League shield, Khoukhi said: “We had a great season, at the end of which we were crowned with the QNB Stars League title for the second time in a row.” ... 

Baghdad Bounedjah: Delighted to win the league, I am happy at Al-Sadd

Al-Sadd striker Baghdad Bounedjah, spoke of his happiness at winning the QNB Stars League title for the second year in a row.

In his statement to the media after lifting the league shield, the Algerian said: “It is not easy to win two league titles without losing in a row.”

He added: “The joy today is indescribable. I was hoping to participate and score, but the season has not ended yet. We still have matches in the Amir Cup and the Champions League. I would like to dedicate the title to my wife, my family and the fans who always stood by us.” ... 

Mohammed Ghanem: We performed well and deserve the league title

Mohamed Ghanem Al-Ali, head of the football at Al-Sadd, expressed his great happiness at officially being crowned champions of the QNB Stars League, for the second time in a row and a record sixteenth time in the club’s history.

In his statement after lifting the league title, Mohammed Ghanem said: “We deservedly achieved the league title, after a great and continuous effort from everyone in the club.” ... 

Al-Sadd lift 16th league title, 77th overall championship

His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, President of the Qatar Football Association, presented the QNB Stars League shield to Al-Sadd, the champions of the 2021-22 edition, after the match against Al Duhail, which ended in a 1-1 draw at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium on Friday.

This triumph is the 16th in the history of Al-Sadd, who hold the record for most league titles. It is also the club’s 77th overall championship in football. ...
