Al-Sadd qualified for the quarterfinals of the Amir Cup 2024 after a 3-2 victory over Al-Markhiya in the Round of 16 clash that was played at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium on Thursday.

The result means that the Wolves will play either Al-Wakrah or Muaither in the quarterfinal, which will be held on the 13th of May. ...

Qatar Cup 2024: Al-Sadd lose to Al-Wakrah

Al-Sadd exited the Qatar Cup in the semifinals after losing to Al-Wakrah in a penalty shootout, following a 2-2 draw during regular time. The match was played at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium on Wednesday.

Al-Sadd took the lead early in the game, with Akram Afif finding the back of the net in the 11th minute, courtesy of a well-executed cross from Paulo Otavio. The team continued to dominate the proceedings, and their efforts were rewarded when Gonzalo Plata doubled their lead in the 27th minute with a clinical finish inside the box. ...
